The Immigration Department announced it will implement fee increases beginning in September, aiming to boost annual revenue by approximately 100 million dollars.
Among the changes, the passport application fee for applicants aged 16 and older will rise by 60 dollars, bringing the cost of a 32-page passport to 430 dollars.
In total, fees for 28 different services will be adjusted, including charges for visa extensions. Of these, 20 services will experience increases ranging from over 20 percent up to 51 percent.
